7.1 Software: Websites and Guides
PDF · 20Page 20The test version and settings form part of the validation record. Links lead to official sites and guides; choosing a tool does not replace understanding the operating condition being tested.
HWINFO
Log sensor readings: VR VOUT / IOUT where available, VID, Effective Clock, temperature and limit flags. Save the log from each validation run.
CPU-Z
Check the CPU model, clocks, ratios, core count and thread count. A configuration snapshot is useful for reporting, but does not confirm stability.
Y-CRUNCHER
Component Stress Tester: SVT/VT3 and additional BKT, BBP and SFTv4 tests. Record the version/binary, threads, memory and duration. Compare load intensity on the specific system; an error does not automatically identify the cause.
OCCT
Test CPU and CPU + RAM with explicitly recorded test settings; core cycling is a separate check. Variable mode does not mean alternating load and idle.
CINEBENCH
Compare performance, temperature and sustained clocks during rendering. Use the same version and conditions; a successful run does not replace comprehensive stability testing.
KARHU RAM TEST
A memory validation run after CPU / Ring tuning. Record allocated memory, duration, coverage and errors; this is not a complete CPU stability test.
CORECYCLER
Additional sequential loading of individual cores; the official project supports Intel Active-Core Turbo. On a hybrid CPU, check P/E-core and HT affinity and test engine compatibility, and leave automatic voltage adjustment disabled.
